How many ways did this engagement session rock? Oh, let me count the ways:
1) Super cool location: Haak Vineyards in Santa Fe. Check.
2) A couple so totally in love that it was such a pleasure to photograph them. Check.
3) Being able, at the same time, to assist the super fabulous and talented Laurie Perez. Double check!
4) The most delicious light from my newly acquired Elinchrom Quadra. Check CHECK CHECK!

Enough said or I will wax poetic about my Quadras. Onto the photographs! (Please click on the photo for a bigger resolution!)

PS. Mirabel and Marcello are getting married in two weeks at The Bell Tower, and Laurie (and I!) are going to be photographing that as well. I can’t wait!

   Very nice! I love the ones in the cellar. Those quadra’s are freaking awesome! If/when I become famous and am required to travel for shoots, I’m definitely picking up a few kits. They weigh like, 6lbs for the head and pack? CRAZY!

   “Frikking awesome” is the right way to describe them alright! They cost a pretty penny but for someone like me (and of the same small stature), completely worth it
