Just wanted to upload this before I went to bed. Today was windy, spotty and trees are in hibernation for the Houston winter. PS. If you’re considering Haak Vineyards for your wedding and engagement, it’s important to know that the greenery goes into hibernation from end of October to March.
PPS. We still make it look good, though *wink*

If you follow me, you know that I and my super half ( Adam) met, fell in love and married while we were both in our first year in the Navy. We were married in a civil ceremony after asking permission from our command, and had only two of his friends to stand as both witnesses and pseudo bridesmaid/groomsman. Needless to say, I know how hard certain circumstances can be, and there are a lot of sacrifices involved when we serve our country.

Operation: Love Reunited allows me to give back to our military members with sessions like this one below. It makes me happy knowing that my client’s husband will receive photos of her and their son while he’s stationed somewhere in the Pacific. During this holiday season, let’s all remember the people who are out there foregoing their families so that we can be safe with ours.

PS. Thanks to Laurie Perez for assisting me at Mercer Arboretum. Holding a reflector while trying to make a little boy laugh is no easy feat!
